Angie Williams

Executive Assistant

Angie Williams is the Executive Assistant at Wellings Capital. Since joining the firm in 2024, she has supported the leadership team and helped coordinate priorities across the firm. She supports executive operations, coordinates internal and external meetings and investor events, and contributes to investor outreach and communications, marketing initiatives, and special projects.

Prior to joining Wellings Capital, Angie spent more than 20 years building her career in collegiate athletics as a basketball coach and administrator at the NCAA Division I and III levels. Most recently, she served as Director of Executive Operations for the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Athletics, where she supported the Director of Athletics and executive leadership team and helped manage department-wide priorities and initiatives.

Angie’s experience in collegiate athletics shaped her team-oriented approach and her ability to manage competing priorities, build strong relationships, and keep complex projects moving forward. She brings that same approach to supporting the Wellings Capital team, its investors, and its partners.

Angie earned her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and her master’s degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. A former captain of the Case Western Reserve women’s basketball team, she was later inducted into the university’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
