Matt Baker

Director of Capital Formation and Investor Relations

As the Director of Capital Formation and Investor Relations, Matt is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with investors and strategic partners. He also leads the Investor Relations team.

Before joining Wellings Capital in 2026, Matt had spent over 17 years in commercial real estate investments, capital raising, and investor relations. He has been involved in over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions across debt, equity, multiple asset classes, and investment structures.

Matt graduated from Drake University with a B.S. in Finance and has an MBA from DePaul University. He lives in St. Louis, MO, with his wife and three kids.
