Michael Niederer

Director of Finance & Accounting

As Director of Finance & Accounting, Michael oversees the tax, audit, and financial reporting functions for Wellings Capital’s funds and investment vehicles, representing approximately $220 million of investor equity. He also leads the firm’s quarterly investor reporting function.

Michael joined Wellings Capital as Fund Manager in 2021 and stepped into his current role in 2024. Before joining the firm, he worked in accounting for a healthcare provider in central Virginia and previously managed the financial and operational functions of a marina in his home state of Minnesota.

Michael earned a B.S. in International Business and an M.B.A. from Liberty University, where he played hockey. He lives in central Indiana with his wife and enjoys hunting, fitness, sports, and spending time with family.
